Victoria, BC - Lillian died peacefully on June 1, in her 96th year. She lived a long, rich life, graced by faith, family and friends.

With her beloved husband John, she travelled the world and together they enjoyed a life with their children that took them from Toronto to Mexico City, Cincinnati, Chicago, Montreal and Victoria.

She was a loving mother, ever supportive to and proud of her children: Ann, Peter (Leah), David (Kathy) and John (Carolyn). She was a devoted sister to Howard (Bud), and William and Gordon (both deceased). An adoring aunt to Jennifer, Ian, Heather, John, Andrew, Rosemary, and Robert, a deeply cherishing grandmother to Ben, Kate, Freya, Paige, Sophia, and Chloe, and great-grandmother to Julian.

She attracted a large extended family and a vast network of life-long friends around the world and across generations. She collected and nurtured her friendships like precious stones.

Her warm and wonderfully positive attitude was ever-present, as she contributed selflessly to her community. Always quick to laugh, her favourite expression was: "Live it up!"
