Marlene Carman Obituary

Seattle, Washington - On April 2nd, while Nasa headed to the moon, Marlene Carman took off from this planet on her own journey to the stars. Marlene was born in Akron, Ohio on May 22, 1936. Her birth had been difficult resulting in Marlene being born with Cerebral Palsy. With the encouragement of her devoted mother, Mary DiFiore, and undaunted by her physical challenges, Marlene took ballet lessons, graduated high school, worked at Goodwill Industries and eventually married. She was intelligent, funny, a loyal friend, and always cared deeply for others. She was unstoppable and much loved by everyone. Her husband Doug precedes her death as does her sister Lenore. She's survived by her nieces and nephews and her brother, Alan, who would like to sincerely thank Marlene's loving caregivers at the Rabeth Adult Family Home, her Social Workers, Doctors and tireless staff at Providence Elder Place and at Pace Comfort Care. You are heroes and angels.
