Victoria, British Columbia - Robert (Bob) Gordon Heath

It is with deep love and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Robert Gordon Heath who died at home on May 28, 2026 in Victoria, British Columbia, at the age of 86.

A devoted husband to his beloved wife of 54 years Patricia Heath. They shared a life rich in companionship. He was a proud and loving father to five children; Norm (Connie), Sharon (David), Ken (Lianne), Venya (Kevin), Alanna (James) and five grandchildren; Faith, Liam, Taylor, Logan and Sophie.

Raised on a farm, he carried a work ethic and love of the simple pleasures of new potatoes and fresh corn, that stayed with him throughout his life. He was a committed lawyer who built his own practice; guided by a strong sense of justice and compassion he helped those in need and took particular pride in helping to reunite families.

Bob found great happiness in days spent on the golf course, cooking, gardening and gathering over meals, especially his favourite Asian cuisines. He carried a generous, quick-witted sense of humour that was central to his character - never far from a joke and happiest when laughter was shared.

He leaves behind his wife, his five children and grandchildren, his siblings Donna, Ann and Alan, along with many friends who will carry his stories with them.

A service will be held in his honour at First Memorial Funeral Services 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC at 2pm on Friday June 5th, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Mustard Seed.
