Victoria, BC - William John Wilkey passed peacefully May 8th, 2026.

Our celebration of life will be held at a future date.

Bill was born in London England, predeceased by Rose and Jack Wilkey and survived by his wife Susan and their children Michael (Lori) and Jenny (Mike), grandchildren Nicholas and Adam, brother Peter (Dianne).

His Mom and Dad decided to move to Edmonton with Bill and brother Peter. Bill attended the University of Alberta where he met Susan. They married in 1967.

He decided to further his education and complete his Masters. With only Victoria and Oregon offering his Marine Biology studies, he chose Victoria. Bill became a high-school teacher of Biology, Phys-Ed, Chemistry and Physics. He taught at Royal Oak, Camosun and Claremont Schools.

Bill and Sue loved to travel and have taken many vacations including Miami, Rome, Italy, Greece, Bermuda, Kauai, and Alaska.

His hobbies were skiing, boating and working on Land Cruisers. He said "I just lie on the garage floor, have a car roll over me and start working on it."

We will miss you Bill.
